The Craft of Creative Stoneworks

I began my love affair with stone as a newly graduated Landscape Architect working in Southern Colorado.  Being employed in a small design firm put me in touch for the first time with stone and the mechanics of building and creating with stone.  Soon, my aesthetics as an artist led me to begin creating stone spaces with deeper meaning, and I began my own business, Creative Stoneworks.  That deeper meaning has developed over time, stemming in part from my personal education into the mysteries of Geomancy (Earth Energy Dynamics) and Sacred Geometry.

Geomancy, the understanding and use of the earth's natural energy grid, is an ancient craft, perfected by special priests called Geomancers into a high art form, whose positions as builders kept them busy and in  high esteem.  Geomancers were able to discern where the earth's natural magnetic energy lines were located, and used this knowledge to layout and construct sacred temples and houses of worship across Asia, Europe, and the present day Americas.

The actual construction of these sites often included elements of Sacred Geometry, which stonemasons of varying degrees of aptitutde used to create balance and beauty  It has been recently discovered that these knowledgeable masons encoded certain mystical and alchemical formulas into their constructions so as to aid in elevating the human experience of worship.  The formulas and  harmonics encoded into these geometries have, in fact, been proven to affect people in subtle and not subtle ways, actually acting to 'alter' the worshipper and bring them closer to their experience of God and Godess.

I have endeavored to provide solid quality stonework with the added dimension of incorporating elements of Sacred Geometry and Earth Energy Dynamics into the planning, design and construction  of all projects.
